Sika® Primer-115 is a high-performance polyurethane-based primer designed for common construction substrates. Applications

Sika® Primer-115 can be applied to a wide range of common building materials, significantly improving the reliability and durability of sealed joints. This is especially important for joints between porous substrates such as concrete, which are frequently exposed to water for extended periods.

Sika® Primer-115 exhibits effectiveness over a wide temperature range. Unlike epoxy primers, it cures more quickly and maintains reliable curing even at low temperatures. This makes it suitable for joints subject to severe weathering.

Construction of a wall

It finds application in various scenarios, including:

  • All exterior floor joints.
  • Situations with time constraints, such as overnight infrastructure refurbishment projects, or the sealing of sea defense walls within tide changes.
  • Connection joints to freshly cut asphalt, where the primer needs to serve as an adhesion promoter and barrier.
  • Joints exposed to strong weathering.
