Sika operates in highly fragmented markets, offering substantial opportunities for both organic and inorganic growth. We acquire companies with a strategic fit and leverage these acquisitions as a foundation for further growth and expansion.

Acquisitions enhance market presence by, improving market access, expanding presence in distribution channels, facilitating access to new customer segments, opening new geographic markets, or complementing our existing technologies.   

Notable strategic milestones include our 2023 acquisition of MBCC Group, which significantly expanded our construction chemicals portfolio across multiple technologies. The 2019 acquisition of Parex strengthened our mortars business globally, while our purchase of King Packaging enhanced our presence in the North American mining industry.
