Join Sika’s 1st Sustainable Packaging Challenge for Europe!
Sustainability matters to us and we know that it’s not just about results on paper, but also how we get there. That’s why we are looking to join forces to discover the best version of what a Sika supplier can be; taking into account the sustainability of its products and innovation in materials.
This is what it means to be an extraordinary supplier.
We know that unity is strength, and today Sika wants you to be part of a sustainable packaging challenge to gradually build a better future.
All proposals should demonstrate a reduction in CO2 emissions:
Sustainability is one of six (6) factors that will be considered in evaluating all proposals and finalists’ presentations. In addition to sustainability, other factors include: feasibility, affordability, operational efficiency, logistical efficiency and marketability.
To participate, you must register by October 13th, 2023, at 11:59 PM Central European Summer Time (CEST). All proposals are due by October 27th, 2023, at 11:59 PM CEST.
Proposals should be approximately 5-10 slides in PowerPoint or PDF format and should be submitted to Wolfgang Wagner at wagner.wolfgang@de.sika.com.
Participants selected as Finalists will be notified by November 10th, 2023, at 11:59 PM CEST and will have to confirm their presence by November 17th, 2023, at 11:59 PM CEST.
The winner of the Packaging Challenge will be announced throughout the Sika organization globally through internal media, and externally through Sika’s main channels (website and social media platforms).
The winner will also have the opportunity to discuss a potential supply agreement with Sika. However, a supply agreement is not guaranteed and any potential agreement between Sika and the winner shall be subject to Sika’s business needs and discretion, as well as due diligence and negotiation.
Participants can submit up to three (3) proposals.
There is no fee or charge to participate. However, if you choose to visit a Sika plant or are selected as a finalist to attend the Live Exhibition, you are responsible for all associated travel costs and ancillary expenses, including but not limited to all personal transport, meals and accommodations. Sika will provide the event room for the Live Exhibition presentation and standard audiovisual tools, the details of which will be provided to finalists in advance of the Live Exhibition.
